Welcome to the AJ Culture & Educational Fund, Inc. (AJCEF).  Our organization was established by the members of the Atlanta Jamaican Association (AJA) in 1995 as an affiliated organization through which the AJA, its members and friends can engage in supporting charitable goals, here in the States as well as at home in Jamaica. 

We are a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means that every dollar you donate to us will not only support our charitable goals, but will also be fully tax deductible to you.

Over the years, AJA, its members and friends, through their contributions to the AJCEF have:

• Awarded over $100,000 in scholarship money to students of Jamaican heritage living in Jamaica and here in the US.

• Donated to hurricane and numerous other disaster relief efforts.

• Helped people in both Jamaica and the US with paying medical bills.

• Donated much needed supplies to hospitals, schools, infirmaries, the police force, and homeless shelters.

  The AJ Cultural & Educational Fund focuses of supporting the next generation of Jamaican leaders. We give students the tools to become innovators and help nurture their continuing education.

Although our mission is broad in scope, our primary focus, however, remains supporting the next generation of Jamaican leaders by providing our students with financial support and encouragement to pursue their educational goals.
